Living in the Twin Cities means we have an incredible array of stunning locations. Here are some of my favorites:

Urban Minneapolis & St. Paul: Graffiti walls in Northeast, historic brick alleys in the North Loop, or the Stone Arch Bridge for iconic skyline views.
Natural Settings: Golden hour in wildflower fields, along the shores of Lake Harriet, or through trails at state parks throughout Minnesota.
Personal Spots: Your childhood home, a favorite coffee shop, or your high school campus — sometimes the most meaningful backdrops are the ones closest to your heart.

What to Wear

I recommend bringing 2–3 outfits that showcase different sides of your personality. Think: one dressier outfit that makes you feel amazing, something casual and comfortable that reflects your everyday style, and one wildcard — maybe a vintage jacket, your varsity letter, or a bold accessory. Choose clothes that make you feel genuinely confident.

Coordinating colors rather than matching patterns photographs best. Solid colors, earth tones, and muted jewel tones look stunning on camera. I send a detailed style guide after booking so you'll feel fully prepared.

Timing Your Session

Most seniors schedule their session between the summer before and early fall of their senior year. Golden hour — about an hour before sunset — provides the most flattering natural light. Fall is incredibly popular thanks to Minnesota's gorgeous foliage, but summer greenery and spring blossoms are equally beautiful.

I recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially for fall sessions which fill quickly.
