Where can you take maternity photos in Minneapolis?
Minneapolis parks, Como Conservatory in Saint Paul, the North Loop, the studio and your own home all work. The parks need a photo permit, so it helps to choose the location early.

Theodore Wirth Park, Lake Harriet and Minnehaha Falls are Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board parks, which require a permit for portrait photo shoots: $47 per 1.5 hours, applied for at least 10 days ahead, and valid only for the park named on it. Photography is not allowed at all in Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden, inside Theodore Wirth Park. Saint Paul exempts personal and family photos from its park permit, except at Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, where even non-commercial photos need one.
