About Bridal Boudoir
Bridal boudoir is the most-booked session in my Minneapolis studio — an intimate portrait shoot designed as a wedding-day gift for your future spouse. Most brides book 8–10 weeks before the ceremony so we have time to design and print a leather heirloom album that you can hand off the morning of the wedding.
Who it's for
Brides who want a meaningful, personal gift their partner has never seen before. Whether it's your first wedding or your second marriage at 50, you'll be guided through every pose in soft natural window light.
Wardrobe
Popular bridal boudoir wardrobe choices include white lace lingerie, a silk robe in your wedding colors, an oversized button-down from your partner's closet, or the veil itself with simple lingerie underneath. I send a complete prep guide and shopping links after booking.
What to expect
A pre-session call to plan wardrobe and looks, a curated playlist built around your taste, head-to-toe posing for the full hour, and a fully edited gallery in 3–4 weeks. Most brides add an heirloom album to gift on the wedding morning.
Bridal Boudoir Pricing — $450
Sessions are $450 — 1 hour in a private Minneapolis studio, every edited photo in both B&W and color, full posing guidance, and a private password-protected gallery within 3–4 weeks. Optional hair & makeup is a $150 add-on. Heirloom leather wedding albums start at $450 and most brides choose this as the final keepsake.
Book Your Bridal Boudoir SessionWhy brides choose bridal boudoir in Minneapolis
A wedding day moves fast — bridal boudoir is the one set of portraits made just for the two of you, weeks before the chaos starts. Brides tell me afterwards that gifting the album was the moment of the wedding morning their partner remembers most.
The heirloom album
Albums are printed on fine-art photographic paper, bound in soft leather you choose from a sample box, and arrive in a presentation case. Spreads lay flat. Most albums are 8×8 or 10×10 with 15–20 spreads.
Bridal Boudoir FAQ
How far in advance should I book my bridal boudoir session?
Book 8–10 weeks before your wedding date. That gives us time for the shoot, a full edit (3–4 weeks), and album design and printing (another 3–4 weeks). Anything tighter than 6 weeks risks the album not arriving in time.
What should I wear for bridal boudoir?
White or ivory lace lingerie, a silk robe in your wedding colors, an oversized button-down (often from your partner's closet), and the veil itself are the four most-requested wardrobe pieces. Bring 3–4 looks and we'll prioritize together.
Can I gift the album to my partner on the wedding morning?
Yes — that's the most common way brides use the album. Most arrive in a black linen-wrapped presentation box and are handed off with the rest of the wedding-morning gifts.
How much does a bridal boudoir session and album cost?
The session is $450 and includes every edited photo digitally. Heirloom leather albums start at $450 and are designed once you select your favorites from the gallery — so most brides invest $900–$1,200 total.
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are photographed in a private, comfortable studio space in the Minneapolis / Twin Cities area. The exact address is shared after booking to protect your privacy.
I've never done this — will you tell me how to pose?
Yes — every pose, every angle, every hand placement is guided. You don't need experience. My only job is to make you feel completely at ease and look incredible.
Are my photos kept private?
Always. Your gallery is password-protected and never shared publicly without a written model release that you sign on your own terms.
