Hi, I'm Emma — a Twin Cities wedding and portrait photographer based in Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN. I specialize in weddings, family portraits, boudoir, and newborn sessions, and I've been doing this for over a decade. With 200+ weddings and 500+ sessions behind me, I've learned the best photos come from real, unscripted moments.
My approach is simple: I want you to forget I'm even there. Whether it's the nervous excitement before a first look, a toddler reaching for mom's hand, or the belly laugh when the best man fumbles the rings — those are the moments I live for.

My Photography Style & Approach
I picked up my first camera over a decade ago and never looked back. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a calling — I realized I wasn't just taking pictures, I was preserving feelings. The nervous excitement before a first look. The way a toddler reaches for mom's hand. The belly laugh when the best man fumbles the rings.
My style leans heavily into documentary storytelling with just enough direction to make everyone look their best. I blend candid, photojournalistic moments with timeless, editorial portraits — all shot in natural light whenever possible.
Where I Shoot
I'm based in Minneapolis and regularly shoot throughout St. Paul, Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Woodbury, White Bear Lake, Maple Grove, and Ellsworth, WI. Favorite locations include Lake Harriet, Minnehaha Falls, Como Park, the Minneapolis Event Centers, and dozens of beautiful outdoor spots across the Twin Cities metro.
Destination weddings and elopements are always welcome — from the North Shore cliffs to out-of-state adventures, I love going wherever your story takes us.
