Bella & Colten's Dellwood Country Club Wedding
Bella and Colten were married on September 4, 2026 at Dellwood Country Club in Dellwood, Minnesota, on White Bear Lake. Emma Ziegler of Honey Deww Photography photographed their day with 8 hours of coverage. This feature shows 20 portraits from the golf course lawn at golden hour: a lace cap-sleeve gown with a button back, a long train and a fingertip veil, a dark three-piece suit with a white boutonniere, and the two of them walking hand in hand, kissing, and running and laughing across the grass. Below the photos is what the club's own pages say about planning a wedding there.

What did Bella and Colten's day look like in these photos?
Every photograph in this feature was taken on the lawn of the golf course at sunset. The sun sits low behind tall pines and spruce, and the light is warm and golden across the grass. The portraits begin with a slow walk: Bella and Colten hold hands and head across the lawn, and in one frame Bella looks back over her shoulder at the camera.
Bella wore a lace cap-sleeve gown with a button back, a long train and a fingertip veil. Colten wore a dark three-piece suit with a white boutonniere. Both are easy to see as they move, because the gown's train follows her across the grass and the veil lifts in the breeze.
The portraits then turn playful. They stop for a kiss and a nose-to-nose moment, then run toward the camera and away from it, laughing, with Bella holding up her skirt and the light flaring through the trees behind them. The last frames follow them running away across the lawn toward the setting sun.
What spots at Dellwood Country Club are in the photos?
These are the features you can see in the 20 photographs.
- The open lawn at the edge of the fairway: where the walking, kissing and running portraits happen.
- Mature pines and spruce: tall trees that frame the couple on the left side of many frames.
- Ornamental grasses: golden tufts at the edge of the lawn that catch the low light.
- Low sun behind the trees: backlight that rims Bella's hair and veil and flares through the branches.
- Trees across the course: a soft green background in the wider frames.
What should you know about weddings at Dellwood Country Club?
Dellwood Country Club is at 29 Highway 96 E. in Dellwood, a small city in Washington County on the northeast shore of White Bear Lake, about 17 miles from downtown Minneapolis. The club's own wedding pages state:
- Membership is not required to hold a wedding there.
- The reception space seats up to 275 guests and has a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and views of the golf course.
- There is an outdoor ceremony area over the golf course, and a Ballroom for indoor ceremonies year-round, so a weather plan is built in.
- The club says it is now booking 2027 weddings. Its events office is at 651-426-3218.
How can you plan golden-hour portraits with 8 hours of coverage?
Golden-hour light is short, so it helps to look up the sunset time for your date and plan a portrait window of 20 to 30 minutes around it. Our Minnesota sunset times guide lists the hours by month.
Eight hours is the length of our Pearl collection, which is $4,200 and includes two photographers. Work backward from the sunset time when you build the schedule, and tell us how far the open lawn or fairway edge is from where the evening will be happening, since a short walk is easy to fit in and a long one is not.
Our wedding collections run from 4 to 12 hours, starting at $3,100 for the 4-hour Emerald collection. Travel is included within 40 miles of downtown Minneapolis, which covers Dellwood. Send your date and venue through the contact page and we will talk through what fits.
